This temple is about 1000 years old,  This temple is located in Kodangipatti in Theni district, Tamil Nadu. This temple is famous for its water tub, in which the water flows from the mouth of a Lion sculptured on the wall of the tank. The water flows all over the years 24/7. The main God of this temple is Lord Murugan. The Lord is six faced here.
                     We can see lot of peacocks in this temple.The temple is surrounded by farms and fields with its natural beauty.The water is pure and tasty. Devotees from all over the world come to this temple to see the magical water flow.

HISTORY OF THIS TEMPLE:

Lord Muruga appeared in the dream of a farmer and told him that He was in a particular spot in the fields of Virpakshi village.  He informed the king.  They found the idol, installed it and built the temple.  As the Lord was found in the Virupakshi Village, He is praised as Virupakshi Arumuga Nayinar.

Lord Muruga with His six faces graces from the sanctum sanctorum.  His consorts Valli and Deivanai are not with Him.  Morning puja is performed with Theertha abishek.  Nearby is Lord Naga Subramanya with a seven hooded serpent serving as an umbrella.  First puja is dedicated to this Muruga and then only to presiding deity.  Those facing Naga dosha prays to Him performing Milk abishek.  It is  noteworthy that a Naga Vigneswarar also graces in the front mandap near Lord Selva Ganapathy.Lord Shiva as Rudramurthy graces from a shrine with a vimana.  There is no Nandhi before Him.  Those blessed by a Guru (Shivadiksha) wear Rudraksha on the forehead.  Lord Shiva here is wearing the Rudrakshamala as a Guru.  The idol is so made with the Rudraksha, a rare form not commonly seen in temples.  Those facing Guru adverse aspects (Jupiter) pray in the shrine on Thursdays offering garlands made of a pulse called Kondai Kadalai.  On the Aipasi Annabishek day in October- November, a Shiva Linga is made of the rice, pujas offered with flowers, vilwa and sandal.  This is dissolved in the river the next day.  People consider this darshan very important and lucky. The temple is situated on the western bank of Kottakudi River.  On the Tamil Near day, birth of Chithirai month falling almost on April 14, special pujas are dedicated to Lord Muruga, the day He was found from the fields.  There is a Vel the weapon of Lord Muruga, very old in age still exists in the temple but the sharpness broken.  The Theertha Thotti is opposite the temple.  The origin of the spring is yet not known but believed that is from the feet of Lord Muruga.

Lets Grow Our Own Oxygen, its a volunteers based organisation.Growing trees is its basic activity. We plant trees every week end. This organisation includes any kind of people who love planting trees. We run this organisation with sponsors from public and corporate people. We are available in all areas of Chennai.
                                                  We started our project on June 5th, 2012, World's Environment Day. Till Sep 2012 we have planted around 1200 tree saplings in different areas in and around Chennai. After initiating this event we have got lot of volunteers who involved in our events conducted on week ends. We have also got some kids under the age group of 10, who are readily participating during all our events.

என் சொந்த ஊர் தேனி மாவட்டத்தில் இருக்கும் டொம்புசேரி. அழகான ஓர் கிராமம். கடவுள் வாழும் இடம் என்று கிராமங்களை சொல்வது உண்மை தான். சூது வாது தெரியாத அருமையான மனிதர்கள்.இன்றும் அழகாய் தெரியும் வயதான பாட்டிகள் , என்றும் இளமையான தோற்றம் கொண்ட தாத்தாகள்.
எங்கள் ஒருக்கு தேனிஇல் இருந்து 4 முறை மட்டும் தான் பஸ் வரும்.அந்த டைம் விட்ட அபாரம் ரொம்ப கஷ்டம் தான்.எங்க ஊர் பஸ் ஸ்டான்ட் ஒரு ஆலமரம் தான்.எங்க தாத்தா பாட்டி இருக்கும் பொது இருந்து எப்போ வரைக்கும் அந்த ஆலமரம் தான் பஸ் ஸ்டான்ட்.என்ன தான் பஸ் ஸ்டான்ட் கட்டி விட்டாலும் அந்த ஆலமரம் தரும் நிழலையும் குளுமையான காற்றையும் எந்த AC யும் குடுக்காது.
பத்திரகாளி புறம் ,எங்க ஊருக்கு பக்கத்துக்கு ஊரு. பஸ் அந்த ஊருக்கு வந்த அப்றம் தான் எங்க ஊரு காரங்க பஸ் ஸ்டான்ட் கு போவாங்க .பக்கத்துக்கு ஊரு எங்க வீட்டு பின்னாடி பொய் பாத்தாவே தூரமா தெரியும். ரெண்டு ஊருக்கும் இடைல பச்சை பசுமையான வயல் தான் இருக்கும். அறுவடை நாட்கள்ல நெல் மணம் மனதை கொள்ளைகொள்ளும்...
பொழுது சாஞ்சா எல்லாரும் வீட்டுக்கு வந்துருவாங்க. அப்போ எல்லாம் எங்க தாத்தா வீட்ல தான் டிவி இருக்கும். எல்லாரும் எங்க தாத்தா வீட்டுக்கு வந்து தான் டிவி பாபாங்க. அப்போ எல்லாம் தூர்தர்ஷன் மட்டும் தான். வெள்ளி கிழமைந ஒளியும் ஒலியும். வீடே ஒரே அமர்களமா இருக்கும்.
எங்க பாட்டி அவங்களுக்கு தண்ணி குடம் எடுத்து வச்சுருவாங்க. எங்க பாட்டி எபயுமே ஷேர் ல தான் உட்காருவாங்க.நியூஸ் போட்ட எல்லாரும் அமைதியா நியூஸ் ரொம்ப கவனமா கேட்பாங்க.. நியூஸ் முடிச்சதுக்கு அப்றம் அத பத்தி டிச்கிச்ஸ் பன்னுவாங்க.
எங்க தாத்தா டொம்புசெர்ரி பஞ்சாயத்துக்கு நிறைய நிலம் ப்ரீய கொடுதுடறு.அதுல தான் அந்த ஊருக்கு மருத்துவமனை , போஸ்ட் ஆபீஸ், ரேஷன் கடை, பால் பண்ணை எல்லாம் கட்டுனாங்க. எங்க தாத்தா ஸ்கூல் கட்டுனாரு. ஒன்றாம் வகுப்புல இருந்து எட்டாம் வகுப்பு வரை . " திருப்பதி மெமோரியல் ஸ்கூல் ". 60 வருஷம் ஆகுது அந்த ஸ்கூல்.
ஸ்கூல் மதியம் சாப்பாடுக்கு கூட்டம் அழை மோதும். .......
மரக்கம் முடியாத அந்த அருமையான நாட்டகள்.....
என்னும் எங்கள் ஊரின் அழகு நிலைத்து நிற்கிறது.....
என் வாழ்வின் நம்பிக்கை என் ஊர் தான்.. நான் என்ன இன்னலில் இருந்தாலும் இந்த அருமையான நினைவுகள் என் வாழ்வில் நம்பிக்கை அழிகிறது..
அவர் அவர் வாழ்ந்த சிறு வயது நினைவுகள் அனைவர்க்கும் என்றும் வாழ்வில் புது நம்பிக்கை தரும் என்று நம்பிகிறேன்...

I have read the book "The Monk Who Sold his Ferrari"by Robin Sharma. It has a lot of meaningful thoughts and ideas that create new people by cultivating their mind with more positive power.

This book tells us how life is to be enjoyed and lived.

Life is too short, Live your dream. Enjoy each and every moment of your life. Here the author tells about a great lawyer of the city ,who used to go to office 24hrs a day. One day the famous lawyer fell down due to cardio arrest. the story begins here...

The lawyer selected Himalayas ,India to relax his mind. On his travel to Great Himalayas, he met Sages of Sivana, in his mountain travel.Those sages thought the lawyer about how to live life and how to control our mind. The only simplest way is to meditate.

Even though such books make us to realize our mistake and change our attitude about living life. Some situations make us feel more disturbed by soul. Better i have search some other book to get relief from other disturbances. :)

Karaikudi Egg Curry

Ingredients:

• Egg-5
• Small onion- 200g
• Garlic- 4
• Ginger- equal to garlic
• Tomato- 1
• Mustard seeds and Urad dal- 1/2 tsp
• Curry leaves- few
• Chili powder- 1 tsp
• Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
• Chicken powder- 2 tbsp
• Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
  
• Salt and Oil- to taste

Recipe:

1. Boil Egg for 5 mins. Then remove the shells.
2. Peel and semi grind the Small onion.
3. Grind Garlic, Ginger and make a paste. Kept this aside
4. Chop the Tomato into small pieces.
5. Heat Oil in a pan. Add Mustard seeds and Urad dal fry till it splutters.
6. Add Curry leaves,Ginger and Garlic paste and fry for a min. Then add Onion and fry till it becomes light brown in color.
7. Add Tomato and fry till it turn into soft. Then add Chili powder,Coriander powder, Chicken powder and Turmeric powder fry till raw smell goes.
8. Once the raw smell goes add a cup of Water and Salt.
9. Finally add boiled Eggs. Let the curry boil once.
